Refund Policy

This Refund Policy governs the terms and conditions under which Khoji Infotech Private Limited ("Company", "we", "our", "us") may issue refunds for services rendered through the platform Khoji.in.

2. Nature of Services

Khoji.in is India's first web-based system designed to assist in identifying and locating missing and unknown persons using a unique one-click system. Registered users may upload data related to a missing person by selecting a service package, completing payment, and submitting details according to the platform's data upload policy and guidelines.

3. Activation of Services

Upon successful payment and validation of uploaded data, the missing person details are activated on the platform. Data is subject to manual or automated review and must comply with Khoji's technical specifications and guidelines. In the event of a match being found through the system, both the uploader and the searcher are notified, with communication options enabled for possible coordination.

4. General Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which payments made on Khoji.in, a platform operated by Khoji Infotech Private Limited, may be eligible for refund. By purchasing or subscribing to any service on the platform, the user agrees to the terms stated below.

All payments made for subscription plans, services, or features on the Khoji platform are final and non-refundable, except under the specific circumstances mentioned in this policy.

Users are advised to carefully review the platform's functionality, services, and applicable terms before making any payment.

5. Limited Eligibility for Refund

A refund will only be considered in the following situation:

  • The user has accidentally made two payments for the same plan or service, and
  • The second payment has been deducted from the user's account, but the corresponding plan or service has not been activated, and
  • The issue occurs due to a technical error on the Khoji platform, resulting in the user being unable to access results in the following search features:
    • Search by Face Photo
    • Search by Identity
    • Search by Filter

If these conditions are verified, only the duplicate payment (second payment) may be eligible for a full refund.

6. Refund Request Timeframe

Users must notify Khoji Infotech Private Limited about the issue within 3 (three) days or 72 hours from the time the payment was deducted.

Requests submitted after this time period may not be eligible for review or refund.

7. Situations Where Refund Will Not Be Granted

Refund requests will not be approved in the following cases:

  • If the user did not understand how the Khoji platform works before making the payment.
  • If the user made a second payment without verifying the status of the first payment.
  • If the user did not receive search results or matches through the platform.
  • If the service or plan has already been successfully activated.

8. Nature of the Platform

Khoji operates as an open technology platform designed to assist in the identification of missing and unknown persons through various digital tools and search features.

The platform works within the scope of available data, technology, and user-generated information. Therefore, Khoji does not guarantee identification results or successful matches. Lack of results or matches shall not constitute grounds for refund.

9. Refund Processing

If a refund request is approved after verification, the eligible amount will be processed using the original mode of payment subject to applicable banking and payment gateway processing timelines.

10. Changes to This Policy

Khoji Infotech Private Limited reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the platform. It is the responsibility of users to review this policy periodically.
